SEEKING A DIRECTOR READY FOR A FEATURE FILM
A producer & writer are looking for an up-and-coming director to join their team for this years round of the Escalator Scheme. This director will have a number of short films under their belt (with at least one demonstrating high production values and substantial funding), possibly some music videos or low-budget TV series. Experience crewing on features a bonus!
We are not looking for recent graduates who have made a handful of shorts during their studies. Evidence of professional directing or ADing is necessary (be it TV, commercial, or NZ on Air funded music videos). Only inexperienced directors with exceptional ability to sell themselves will be considered.
If our team is successful, production will be Summer 2011. You must be on board throughout the year for mentoring with the film commission.
Applicants that can't provide a showreel (internet or DVD) will not be considered.
