AUDITION - Short Film
Treetop Productions are currently producing a quality led short film based on a woman at the edge of a successful musical career. Our lead character, Talin is caught up in a violently abusive relationship. The last attack is fortunately enough to convince Talin out of the situation. However two months later Talin discovers she is pregnant and begins a full maternal journey of resentment and confusion. Talin carries this through the labor and after the birth. The journey ends with a highly emotive scene portraying the undeniable bond that forms between mother and child.
1 x lead actress 20 - 30 years - must have ability to display a wide range of emotions
1 x male 20 - 30 years - tough guy who beats his girl friend
1 x male 22 to 32 years - charming and seductive
1 x female 20 to 35 - must be able to sing Opera - this girl is a diva.
15 times extras.
Acting experience preferable although still on the look out for some natural undiscovered talent also.
