An exciting position has come up within an international, award winning Film Production Company.  A demanding, multi-faceted role, the candidate will be required to work autonomously and be the sole go-to person offering technical support to the company’s five global offices.

 

The role encompasses three main areas:

Media Management (DVD showreel production, systems management, maintenance of website and media library).

Technical Support (server maintenance, website administration, email support & trouble shooting for hardware/software).

Editing (showreels, animatics, re-edits, edit suite management).

 

The skills required for this job are:

2-3 years experience in general IT support.

Solving system, server, workstation and network problems.

Experience within the creative/film/advertising industry would be a bonus.

Proven experience with Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, QuickTime Pro, Photoshop, Indesign.

Preferably experience in Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Fireworks.

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet challenging deadlines.  Self-motivated, highly organized and with a meticulous eye for detail, they will have a creative intellect and passion for visual media.  Paramount will be a forward thinker who can anticipate and respond to changes in this fast paced industry.

 

The job runs as a 24/7 support operation so you will need to be flexible for on call assistance. (Normal hours are 9am – 6pm).
