ACTORS
The script is centred around an older woman, Beryl, who has been widowed for 28 years.
Every year she takes herself out for a nice dinner for the anniversary of her and her husband, the film begins as she is getting ready for this night out.
At the restaurant, an unexpected occurance causes her to be thrown into a state of fear and doubt toward her beliefs. A young guy called Robbie is out with his mates and sees her looking panicked so ends up coming to check that she is okay. Their interaction is where the change happens and the film centres around this encounter.
The roles that need to be filled are:
Beryl (age - 55+)
Robbie (age 22 - 25)
Robbie's mates (similar age)
Waitresses (20s - 30s)
Lots of other lovely people who can look great on film/wear dresses/suits/dance/dine/all of the above!
