We have embarked on a large programme of work to transform TVNZ to a digital infrastructure. At the foundation of this project and fundamental to its successful implementation, are our people. 

We are looking for an energetic person to join our fantastic team of Media Controllers in a state of the art facility that will transform the way we work. You will have a “can do” attitude and the ability to multi-task without compromising quality. With an ever changing media landscape we need a team who are agile in their response, who are passionate about our content and who have a solutions-oriented approach. 

This is a key operational role responsible for managing the process of ingest, QC, outgest/transfer and playout of all content. A strong eye for detail, excellent problem solving ability and technical aptitude are all essential for the role. You will have an understanding of file based workflows, together with a good knowledge of videotape and media file formats. Ingest and / or playout experience is also desirable, preferably with Harris D-Series Broadcast Automation.
