Video editor for documentaries

Organisation/person name:
Michael Travis
Work type:
Freelance
Work classification:
Editor - Film and Tape
Job description:

I’m an independent film-maker with several years of experience directing commercial work, as well as documentaries, short films and music videos.

Although I enjoy editing my own projects, I’m looking to expand my capacity to produce further work by collaborating with a proactive and independent editor. I appreciate what a vital role this discipline plays in shaping the final output of a film, and hope to establish a mutually rewarding relationship for future productions.

I've recently returned from filming in London, and initially have enough content for at least two medium length documentaries, as well as a short film. I’m currently planning additional documentary shoots in New Zealand, as well as developing some dramatic concepts for film and television.

I like to think I have a focus on novel and interesting subjects, and I hope you agree! My work to date, together with award and screening information, can be found at: http://www.michaeltravis.net/

If you’re interested, please email a CV to contact@michaeltravis.net and if possible, provide a link to an example of your work. I look forward to hearing from you!
