If you can answer these questions and you are interested in working in television publicity, consider this opportunity: TV 2, New Zealand’s most popular television channel, is looking for a Publicity Coordinator.
You’ll be responsible for sourcing, collating and managing all publicity materials for TV 2, including editing and distributing informative and accurate programme listings for TV 2; working with local producers and international distributors to source publicity materials; and carrying out administration for the TV 2 publicity team.
You will possess an excellent attention to detail, be computer literate, have an ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and to form good relationships with media, producers and distributors. Most importantly, you have a proven track-record relating to your first-rate communication skills.
An ability to write concisely in good, plain English, to work to tight deadlines and high levels of organisation are essential. A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
