Premiere Shorts 2010/2011 Guidelines

The NZ Film Commission is pleased to announce the Premiere Shorts 2010/2011 Guidelines!

The NZ Film Commission has appointed the following three executive producer groups
to manage the development and production of 6 short films for the 2010/2011
financial year. Applications may be made to all three executive producer groups
based on the attached criteria.

The three executive producer groups are:

A Collective Intake of Breath               Michael Bennett, Maile Daugherty
Tauihu Shorts                                      Tui Ruwhiu, Poata Eruera,
Bradford Haami
Tom Thumb Shorts                              Steven O'Meagher, Chris Dudman, Polly
Fryer

FRESH SHORTS / PREMIERE SHORTS ROADSHOW

Come along to the Short Film Roadshow to learn more about Fresh Shorts and Premiere
Shorts!  The NZ Film Commission Short Film department and the incoming Premiere
Shorts Executive Producers will travel the four main centres to discuss the criteria
and answer any questions filmmakers may have. The Roadshow kicks off in Auckland and
will work its way down the country.

The Fresh Shorts / Premiere Shorts Roadshow dates and venues are outlined below:

Auckland Saturday 24 July - Library Lecture Theatre B15, Auckland University, Alfred
Street (under the general library)

Premiere Shorts            1.30pm-4pm

Wellington Sunday 25 July - Room LT1, School of Architecture, 139 Vivian Street,
Victoria University

Christchurch Monday 26 July - Room S169, Christchurch Polytechnic, City Campus,
Madras Street
Fresh Shorts                 5pm-7pm
Premiere Shorts            7pm-9pm

Dunedin Tuesday 27 July - Barclay Theatre, Otago Museum, 419 Great King Street
Premiere Shorts             2.30pm-4.30pm
Fresh Shorts                  5.30pm-7.30pm

Come and get some inspiration, chat with the NZ Film Commission Short Film
department and incoming Premiere Shorts Executive Producers, ask questions, watch
international short films, and meet other filmmakers!
