Lead Actors required for Short Film
We are looking for lead actors for our music video which will be shot as a short film. So acting skills are essential.
We are looking for the following roles
Father
Late 30s/early 40s Pacific Islander/ Maori. Round face, warm eyes. (Role will involve choreographed fighting)
Future Sons (adult)
Late 20's/early 30s of PI or Maori descent. Big, muscular and mean looking. (Role will involve choreographed fighting)
Mother
Late 30's/early 40s Caucasian. Very motherly warm face.
The shoot will be two full days on location around Wellington on the 5/6 August. But depending on your role you may only be required for one day.
We are offering token fees of $100 per shoot day. The days will be long and we'll be moving quickly around a number of locations, you'll be working with a great crew and will be very well-fed throughout.
The video is written and directed by Rollo Wenlock (see rollowenlock.com for examples of previous work).
Synopsis:
A father travels to town everyday to bring home the bacon. He becomes seduced by a luxurious lifestyle he can never afford. To obtain it, he starts to leave his family behind. His two sons, however, have other ideas. This is a story of getting lost, and being found by the ones that love you. Even if the love is tough.
