Film Fundraising Assistant

Congruence Films is looking for a Fundraising Assistant to assist the director and other personel with the organisational aspects of making The Lake until December.

Please note this is a pre-production role only however this is a great experience to work on a local project.

Congruence Films is the genesis of Lee Sentes, Patricia Hetherington and David Morrah.  The Lake is a short thriller we are shooting - 12 minutes duration.  We are hoping to shoot this film once we have fundraised $5,000 next year.  Right now however we need someone who can take over the planning aspects of the film more as David works on the storyboards.  Full training will be given to the right person.

Duties involve:

- Assisting the director to prepare several funding applications

- Coordinating with the other producers to ensure the smooth running of a fundraising event.

- Working with the director in selling chocolates (sales work not neccessary: full training given)

Please note this role ends in December and if you enjoy the role, there is an option to join us for the February shoot for the extra motivated.

To be eligible, you must be able to meet up once a week for our 6pm production meetings each Wednesday at the Southern Cross.  Ideally, you need to have a good grasp of English as we need someone who can help David with the filling out of fundraising applications.  Full training will be provided.
