News Camera Operator/Editor
Based in Invercargill we are looking for a Camera Operator/Editor to join the CUE Television team.
This is a medium-level position starting Mid-October, however, depending on the successful applicants skill base an earlier training start date maybe required.
CUE Television broadcasts 24 hours per day throughout NZ on SKY Digital Channel 110 and Freeview Channel 23.
South Today is our daily core programme consisting of 20 mins each of News, Lifestyle & Sport from around the Southland region.
The successful applicant would be required to shoot and edit 15 minutes of News each day, Monday through Friday, and also be available on a rostered basis for our Outside Broadcasts filmed all over NZ, Weekend Camera and other CUE projects.
The ideal candidate would have the following:
* ENG Experience
* Prior Knowledge and experience of P2 Cameras & Adobe Premiere Editing facilities
* Be hard working and passionate
* Be able to cope well under pressure
* Be able to work as part of a small team
* A willingness to work the random hours the Television industry brings.
* Abilitiy to deal with people from all walks of life
* Have a positive attitude
* Experience in OB Production
