Sound Designer needed for short film
We're looking for a sound designer for a Masters thesis short film made under the University of Auckland. This is a period piece set in early 1900's NZ, and follows an ornithologist who set out to save the 'Huia', a native bird that is now extinct.
This film was written and directed by Nicole van Heerden, shot by Simon Riera, and the sound recorded by Ande Schurr.
The film was shot on the RED, and approximate length is 10 minutes.
Work timeframe for this will be from Oct 14 till Nov 21. We've been editing on Final Cut so far, and can get access to some recording facilities at our Uni. We also have a small budget to work with, and whatever you don't end up using from that is your's to keep. We will cover all related transport costs.
We're an easy-going team and are keen to work with someone who's really passionate about using sound to add meaning to film. Do have a look at the attached info pack for more details on the project.
We look forward to hearing from you!
