"Sebastian" - the kniving hairdresser
Aoraki Polytechnic Diploma in Television is producing a six show sitcom series; LATE FEES
LATE FEES is set around a failing DVD store, flanked by a Chinese takeaway, and a beauty salon.
The cast is all but confirmed, alll six scripts are at 2nd draft or further, and the sets are nearing completition. We are scheduled to begin filming the first episode late next week.
However, we are are missing a strong actor for "Sebastian". He is a flamboyant, bitchy hairdresser, who loves to make cutting remarks about his 'mutton-dressed-as-lamb' boss, Pamela. He works in the 'Chic and Streak' salon, but has big dreams to get out of that dump!
We see him as a very confident (25 - 60yo!) male, who can pull of the classic "bitchy hairdresser" character - with the ability to deliver some devastating one-liners.
If you could be interested in the role (and we are looking ASAP, and would LOVE to hear from you) then please get in touch with our casting director!

Overall, our aim is to create a high production quality, 'kiwi' sitcom, with some great characters and storylines - on a minimal budget.
The end product will then be offered to any broadcaster/media outlet who will take it.
And, of course, we will be having a large screening with the cast, crew and general public - and producing a professional-looking DVD of the entire series.
A sitcom series in Christchurch! Sounds fun, right?
Acting skills ... willingness ...
