The CineMart deadline for submitting projects is September 1st, 2011.

From January 25 to February 5 (2012), the 41st edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam will take place. During the festival, the 29th edition of the international co-production market CineMart will be held from Sunday the 29th of January to Wednesday the 1st of February.

Over the course of four days, CineMart will present around 30 to 35 international projects of acclaimed directors and their younger talented colleagues to approximately 850 professionals from the international film industry, ranging from sales-agents, producers and distributors to television buyers and funding agencies.

New Zealand Producers are encouraged to apply with their projects directly to Cinemart for selection for the 29th CineMart edition. Feedback from selectors in past years has stressed the importance of a strong director’s vision statement.

The successful applicant from New Zealand will be financially supported to attend the market.

Producers must apply directly to Cinemart, approaching the NZFC for financial assistance only once an acceptance letter has been received.
