Job description:

We are looking for someone to fill the position of a vehicle wrangler for an up and coming feature film that we will be shooting over six weeks during March/April 2012.

TASKS

- Research online/phone and inspect possible prop vehicles if required.

- Drive large truck (six to ten tonne), various cars, motorbikes, an old tractor and have some experience with a fork hoist (A fork hoist licence would be great)

- Pick up and return prop vehicles using car transporter if required.

- Friendly and reassuring to vehicle suppliers.

- Look after and secure all vehicles during shoot.

- Groom and prepare cars (apply retro stickers and number plates where needed).

- Move vehicles around on set.

- Purchase fuel and maintain vehicles.

- Basic bike mechanics.

- Mechanical knowledge of diesel and petrol motors and own tools to effect simple repairs and other tasks relating to prop vehicles.
