Foot in the door Ltd is a company designed to do exactly what its name entails, help keen, hard working individuals to get their foot in the door... where? In NZ's great Film industry of course. Hundreds of Film students come out of University every year and don't know where to go or what to do in order to get themselves working in the industry they have just studied hard for, nor do they know what sort ladder climbing is required.. That's where we come in...
1- Everyone of our members is given an Induction which has been created by production Assistants who actively work in NZ's Film industry.
2- We let them know the ins and outs of the industry and how they can meet and exceed their employers expectations so they generate great working relationships with production managers and companies therefor getting hired again and again.
3- We set all our members up to be as useful to you as possible; everyone of our members comes equipped with what we call "The Assistants Bible". The bible is a vast log of information on all the companies that could be used during the Pre, post and shooting parts of a production; Plus great advice on how to help out during the entire production process.
