Job description:

I'm making a student short film called The Conquistador for my post grad studies in Screen Production at AK Uni. The film is an offbeat take on the hero journey. I have a range of actor and extra parts to fill ASAP - casting this week. Check out the attached script for full story.

Actor's parts:

Reuben - The Conquistador

Males, aged 20 to 30

A quixotic character, he's a bit of a fool, his strength comes from his unrelenting enthusiasm.

Francis - The Knight

Males, aged 18 to 25

Reuben's side kick, he's a bit of a nerd and quite shy.

Crystal - The Viking

Females, aged 20 to 30

Reuben's eventual love interest. she's a bit of a geek but quite confident.

Jake - The Wizard

Males, aged 25 to 35

He's a pompous know it all - Reuben's nemesis.

Extra's parts:

Role Players, anyone 18 - 35 y/o. Put on a helmet, grab a plastic sword and run around like a maniac for half a day.

Hoodlums, male 16 - 20 y/o. Tease and Beat up the hero of the story - but in a funny way.
