ACE - European Producers Network
ACE - European Producers Network is a network of producers which holds project focused workshops.
The NZFC will assist one NZ Producer to attend the Paris and Zurich based workshop in March 2010 and join the ACE network.
This will provide an opportunity for a qualified producer with a suitable project to access advice about European financing for their project and to develop long-term relationships with European funders and producers.
ACE – EUROPEAN PRODUCERS NETWORK
ACE (Ateliers due Cinéma Européen) is a network of producers which holds project focused workshops.
In 2009, ACE opened its doors to non-EU independent producers by launching a new training session (ACE IPA), specially designed for them. One of the six new non-EU members was NZ producer Philippa Campbell.
The NZFC will assist one NZ Producer to attend the Paris and Zurich based workshop in March 2010 and join the ACE network.
This will provide an opportunity for a qualified producer with a suitable project to access advice about European financing for their project and to develop long-term relationships with European funders and producers.
To be eligible, applicants must:
• Have already produced at least one feature film as the lead producer,
• Have an internationally-targeted feature film project in development.

Applications will be due at NZFC by November 6th.
Final selection will be made by ACE, with notification in mid-December.

- New Zealand Film Commission
The NZFC provides loans and equity financing to New Zealand film-makers to assist in the development and production of feature films and short films being made in New Zealand. The Film Commission does not itself produce films. The Film Commission is also active in the sales and marketing of New Zealand films, and it assists with training and professional development within the industry.
