Job description:

We require an experienced News Reporter to work on a daily news and current affairs programme which is produced for The Country Channel – a rural subscription Channel broadcasting on the Sky platform.

The successful applicant must be a highly motivated self starter who can confidently deliver news packages that are current, accurate, in-depth and with a business focus. You must have a minimum of two years proven on camera experience and will be required to submit a show reel.

You must have a high standard of personal presentation at all times. Because we are small organisation we are looking for a positive team player.

You will need to have a strong on camera presence and well-trained broadcast voice.

A broad knowledge and contacts across all rural sectors is an advantage, but not strictly necessary.
