Administrator: Audio-Visual Team.
The Learning Connexion AV Department makes video, text and web resources for our tertiary distance students.
We're basically a small video production unit with a designer and web guy, surrounded by an art and creativity school.
We're looking for an office Mum (or Dad, or older sibling), to smooth our creative path. This role is two days per week (14 hours) and is largely an organisational role.
The main part of it is overseeing our epic DVD library which involves logging information, dubbing copies and keeping track of it all
You'll also be responsible for ordering stock and student resources, doing AV set ups (basically if you can plug your DVD player into your TV AND stereo you're sweet), dubbing and copying DVDs, signing in and out gear, and generally supporting staff with technical tit-bits.
We want someone who is organised, tidy (very tidy), is happy on a PC or Mac (confidence with computers is a MUST), and who communicates easily both in person and via email.
If you want to be surrounded by piles of blank and burning DVDs in a room full of random creative people and can still keep everything organized then you should pop us a CV. You don't have to be creative or arty for this job, just able to deal with us.
Also if you like power ballads then we will be pleased.
If this sounds like the role for you, please email your current CV and a covering letter to:
