Funding/Fundraising

I'm looking for people who are able to help out with funding or fundraising to help make my first feature film possible.

I'm directing my very first feature film and it's a non profit non gross profit movie that will be sent to Creative Trust in 2011. Due to the film being non profit I am having difficulty finding funding for this film. If you know anyone or any company that will be willing to lend even a little amount or start a trust fund please contact me. Anything that will be given will be greatly appreciated! The purpose of all this is to get my career as a film director started.

The movie is based on the Graphic Novel by Ted Dekker called Black: The Birth of Evil the first of 4 books from the Circle Trilogy. I also have permission to make this film.

At least $30,000 is needed to fund or fundraise for this film and I am putting this up so I can put a team together to make this possible. I do not know a lot about fundraising but with the right people I know I can make this possible.

The cost will cover all expenses for the film. Camera hire lighting, sound, equipment for Production and Post Production. Travel expenses, accommodation when out of Auckland and food to keep us going during production.

Without the funding filming will not be able to go ahead. Filming is expected to start in mid May early June
