Job description:

Weta Productions is looking for Character Animators to work with a team of 16 animators on Series 2 of the WotWots, a CG children's television series made at Weta Workshop.

This second series will be 26 x 10 minute episodes in which the WotWots venture out from the Zoo and explore the countryside and the seaside.

The ideal applicant for this job will be a graduate from a relevant Design and Animation School and/or have the necessary skills and work experience in television CG production. Good character animation skills are essential and Maya experience preferred.

The duration of this contract is expected to be approximately 5 months, commencing mid to late May 2010. The rate will be relative to experience and skill. Preference will be given to applicants already located in New Zealand with a current work visa/permit.
