Web Project Manager

We love the web. We like to do our part to make the web a more inviting place. It isn't an easy task! We're looking for an experienced project manager to help us do just that.

We're dedicated to creating beautiful, usable websites. We've won a few awards too. We are an awesome team of talented fun individuals who are all passionate about the web. We work closely together to create the best possible solution for both the client and the users.

You would have direct contact with clients and the full Springload team and a lot of scope and responsibility to really create the role for yourself, with full support from the directors and management staff. You would have a variety of tasks, from low-level client contact through to internal project management, making sure you are constantly challenged and never bored in your role! Ideally, Springload is seeking a Project Manager with a view to move into Account Management, with a focus on client relationship management.

Key tasks:

• Work closely with our Account Managers and clients to deliver existing projects and help scope out new ones.
• Work closely with Springload design, integration and development team members to develop accurate time and cost estimates.
• Develop realistic plans and timelines for project delivery. * Work closely with team members and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report regularly on the status of work streams to Account Managers or Directors.
• Perform post-project reviews to ensure continuous improvement in Springload's internal processes.

Required skills:

• Outstanding people relationship and management abilities.
• Great sense of humour, or at least a high quality rubber chicken/whoopee cushion.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, in person and in writing.
• 3+ years experience in account and/ or project management.
• Must have experience managing web projects and a good working knowledge of web technology.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple streams of work 
• Ability to work in a team environment alongside designers, integrators and developers throughout the entire development process.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
