Job description: 

IT Services are responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the IT systems and infrastructure used by all staff and students at EIT Hawke's Bay. Currently we have a vacancy for an experienced, qualified and motivated IT professional to join the Client Services team.

As part of the Client Services team, you will be responsible for the provision of sound technical support of the Institute’s IT systems and for ensuring that these systems continue to develop and are able to meet and exceed the needs of the Institute.

This is a varied and challenging role that will provide a stimulating and rewarding environment for the person who has the right skills:

It is essential that applicants have: 

  • A highly developed level of customer service
  • Experience in incident and problem management
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Vista
  • Good working knowledge of MacOS X
  • Sound experience of desktop management, including imaging and software deployment
  • Excellent technical skills.
