URGENTLY SEEKING A MUSICAL DIRECTOR
For the 2012 Wellington Summer Shakespeare - TWELFTH NIGHT
HELP! We are looking for someone who can teach our cast some 1920s song and possibly even play the piano in the show itself (if you want to!)
We have already begun rehearsing for this crazy outdoor comdey, set by the seaside in the 1920s, and we're keen to add music to our show ASAP!
If you are available on Saturday afternoons for a couple of hours from now until mid Feb (3 weeks off over Xmas/New Year) we'd love for you to come and teach us some original 1920s songs. We rehearse at 225 Aro Street, and there is a piano on site.
This is an unpaid position, but it is a great opportunity to practise your MDing skills on a bunch of talented and enthusiastic actors, and have lots of fun over summer! If you are keen to, you could also perform in the show as the piano player!
