Actor/Actress
Want To Do A Night’s Acting For Little To No Pay?
Hello.
We are a Wellington indie/pop band that has been around for 9 years.
We’re putting on a show at an underground (literally) venue in Wellington on the 1st of May. It’s May day and the show is about working. The band will be releasing their workers album at the show. We intend to create an atmosphere of alienation, subordination and exploitation…Then empower the audience with rhetoric about solidarity and follow it all with a great party…
We need an actor to play the part of a greedy, confident, ostentatious company director. Preferably someone older than 30 or late 20s. We also need a couple of executive assistants. These people will hang off every word of the director.
If you’re into combining social justice and art, this is the gig for you…
We can offer booze for the night and a small payment of around $50 (depending on attendance numbers).

Here's a blurb from our advertising:
The recession is over and business is booming, hence, due to explosive growth in an exciting new industry this market leading company is looking for admin and sales super stars to join its busy team of willing worker bees.
You will be part of a funky 'go getter' team which is primarily focused on daily operations and processing customer orders by entering data into a complex computer based system.
If you think you have an infectious positive attitude towards work life, are able to supress any desire for individual expression and become subsumed by a company's blind pursuit of profit -then please apply immediately.
*A group interview will take place at ****** offices and will feature performances from the company band and new recruits Ghostplane.
Venue:** Dixon St, Wellington, NZ
Time: Doors 8.30pm 9pm start.
Application fee applies. (fee includes company orientation CD)
To register your attendance please email your full name and a cover letter to ***** Ref No: 80085
NB: Latecomers will not be considered. Registration is essential to guarantee entry to interview.
