About Wards MusicWorks

Wards is a locally-owned business that has been in operation for well over 35 years. The business owners and staff are all keen musicians who would like to see Northland as musically active as possible, and they view the Fritter project as being a good step in that direction.

Wards began their support of the Fritter project with Arts Promotion Trust in 2007 as a means of providing an opportunity for Northland musicians to get their material out in the open. In 2008, Wards MusicWorks was a finalist in the NBR Sponsorship of the Arts Award for their support of this project.
This year, with the promotional support of Arts Promotion Trust, Wards is working to create another successful compilation with Fritter 4.
