Audiovisual Technician

AVPartners Whitsundays – Based on Hamilton Island is offering an exciting opportunity for experienced Audiovisual Technicians seeking a full-time position living and working in paradise and commencing July 2010. Working with the Event Management team, our Audiovisual Technicians will ensure the technical quality of our events is of the highest possible standard and will setup, operate and dismantle all events at Hamilton Island and various other venues around the Whitsundays.

Ideal Audiovisual Technician will;
• Have a minimum 1 year’s experience in the corporate audiovisual events industry
• Have knowledge of all vision, audio and lighting equipment used in delivering corporate events
• Possess outstanding show craft skills
• Have good work ethic, positive attitude and be willing to work flexible hours
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Have a desire to lead, not follow
• Preferably hold a current EWP ticket and/or Blue Card
