I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE:
Open Audition: Sunday 19 September
Toi Whakaari NZ Dance & Drama School, 11 Hutchison Rd, Newtown

With book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is presented as a series of vignettes connected by the central theme of love and relationships.

With a cast of four, each actor plays up to fifteen characters across the whole play, a great number of roles for any actor looking for a real challenge! Each character comes with their own unique and often comical situation, in which they explore different aspects of relationships.

This production is part of the Masters of Theatre Arts Programme (Toi Whakaari & Victoria University) and will be directed by Theresa Hanaray and music directed by Craig Newsome.

Please prepare two contrasting songs (one ballad, one up-tempo) and bring the sheet music with you in an appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided for you. (Please do not audition with any material from the show).

After singing auditions, you will be asked to read a monologue from a selection, in an American accent. Please learn your monologue by heart.

Callbacks will be held on Sunday 26 September. Performance dates are 7 December – 12 December. Rehearsal period will take place from Monday 18 October through to Monday 6 December in accordance with availability.
