LIGHTS, FIRE, ART ACTION!

Festival of Light & Art 2011 is a spectacular annual event incorporating art and entertainment for everyone and all ages.

The 5 day festival will be hard to miss with extraordinary light, an explosion of music & performance, as well as, enough pizzazz to warm you up and put a spring in your step for a September evening.

The Quarry Arts Centre offers a brilliant venue of craggy rock faces and open meadow spaces where artist will run riot with light and colour. Everyone is invited to come and be a part of the ACTION!

On Thursday 15 September 6 -8.30pm the evening of the festival will be dedicated to Heat and Beats. A variety of percussion drumming performances are invited to be a part of the festival. Set to the drumming will be an explosive fire show.

Any kind of drumming is invited to take part in this huge percussion jam session. The Quarry is a natural amphitheatre so the rhythm will be enhanced and energised by the nature of the space.
