The National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries is looking to appoint a person with high level skills in administration, organisation, people management and communication to develop relevant and effective operational systems and practices at the School of Music.

The successful candidate will lead an administrative team to deliver administrative, financial, information and academic support services in one of New Zealand’s leading music schools.

The successful applicant will have competencies in the development of effective systems utilising appropriate technologies as well as effective people management skills. A tertiary qualification or equivalent and relevant training is required.

The person appointed will have a positive and confident outlook and the ability to show initiative. Experience in management in higher education as well as experience in music administration or in another of the creative arts would be an advantage.
