The Chair of the Board of Management of the Orpheus Choir, or Nominee
JOB OBJECTIVE:
To provide administrative support to the Orpheus Choir of Wellington.
HOURS OF WORK:
40 hours per month (average)
START DATE:
November 2009
The position involves mostly secretarial and financial administration for the Board of Management of the Orpheus Choir of Wellington. The Choir is New Zealand’s premier symphonic choir, with around 100 voices. We perform regularly at major Wellington music venues with highly regarded musicians and soloists, both international and local. Our concerts cover the major classic choral works through to contemporary and challenging works, including new and original music by New Zealand composers.
Secretarial skills, familiarity with accounting software, attendence at monthly board meetings
