The School of Music offers students a musical education unmatched in New Zealand with access to world-class, specialised facilities and courses taught by nationally and internationally renowned staff members.

Reporting to the Faculty Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of the School of Music, which involves responsibility for the administration, finances, information and academic support functions across the school.

To be considered for this role you will hold a tertiary qualification or be able to demonstrate extensive experience in a similar role. You will possess significant experience in the management of staff across an administrative function, ideally gained within a tertiary or other education environment. You will be experienced in financial administration and be an advanced user of the entire Microsoft suite of packages.An interest in music or the creative arts would be an advantage.

Success will be measured through your ability to manage the administrative team on a day-to-day basis focussing on efficient and effective delivery. You will build a culture of collaboration amongst the professional staff and support the Faculty Manager to ensure the highest standards of customer service are consistently maintained.
