In this dynamic role you will be responsible for the strategic design, delivery and monitoring of all sponsorship and events for Fonterra farmers and related communities. Offering huge variety, you will be involved in successfully delivering both Fonterra specific events as well as rural industry events. This is a challenging and fun role and requires the energy and passion that working for a big brand brings.

Leading a team based in the regions, you will motivate and drive a strong team culture, and ensure consistent delivery and compliance to established process. Key to your success will be the networks you build and the ability to quickly establish strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers.

In order to be successful, you will have an events, marketing or sponsorship background within the rural sector and ideally be tertiary qualified. You will have previous leadership experience, and have managed medium to large projects and the necessary resources involved. Your experience will enable you to manage changing priorities, thrive under pressure, be unflappable and have confidence in your decision making. Using your outstanding communication skills, you will build relationships with ease.
