The Bright Ideas Challenge is a chance to transform your bright business idea into reality.

All you have to do is tell us your bright business idea in 100 words or less and you could win $25,000 worth of seed capital, a place on the Bright Ideas Kickstart programme worth $1,200 and the opportunity to connect with some of Wellington’s top business experts and investors.

The key thing we are looking for is innovation.We are interested in all stages of ideas, including dynamic initial ideas, ideas at research and development, prototype, or pilot and revenue generating stages.

Every idea submitted gets feedback and support from business experts and it costs nothing to enter.

But the Challenge is not just about winning money. In business often the most valuable thing you have is connections to experts, markets, mentors and support to commercialise your idea. The Challenge will help you create those connections.

As part of the challenge, successful Wellingtonians will share their stories. There will also be opportunities to network with these people, other entrepreneurs, business experts and Wellington investors.
