Reference librarian (Arts Portfolio)

Make your move into this senior role and become a critical part of the senior team in Information Services. This full time parental leave role will see you manage the arts portfolio (which includes languages, history and travel).
Key duties include taking a share of responsibility for training and supervision of staff, supervising the Saturday team and developing web content for readers advisory. Impress us with your superb customer service skills and natural ability to relate well with people of all ages and backgrounds. Excellent communication along with a strong knowledge of Millennium and the internet is essential. A background or demonstrated interest in arts, languages or history would be advantageous.
This is a full time position worked Tuesday to Saturday. If you have a professional library qualification or are working towards one, and/or a tertiary degree, then this is your opportunity to gain experience with the largest public library in the country.
