Executive Board Members
Birthright is a nationwide not-for-profit organisation that works with one parent families assisting them to gain confidence, develop life skills, and to help them achieve a sense of self help and independence.
Birthright's National Executive Board provides guidance and leadership for 15 independent societies located throughout New Zealand. We are looking to strengthen our governance through the appointment of independent National Executive Board Members.
Key responsibilities of Board members include:
- Attending Board meetings in central Wellington (10 meetings per year)
- Working with the other Board members to set and implement policies for the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience with a well-respected national not-for-profit organisation. Board members are reimbursed for all travel expenses.
We are looking for Board Members with skills in governance, strategy, finance and marketing, however all skills will be considered.
