Navy Museum - Torpedo Bay, Devonport
The Navy Museum’s mission is to capture and preserve New Zealand’s naval culture and heritage for current and future generations through collection, preservation, presentation, education, research and scholarship.
We seek an Educator to develop and deliver exiting, dynamic learning experiences for the new Navy Museum at Torpedo Bay.
In this role you will apply your teaching experience to bring to life the museum’s collections and artefacts, making them relevant and interesting to visiting school children and their teachers. You will ensure the education programmes remain fresh and fun and you will deliver outstanding educational outcomes aligned with the New Zealand curriculum. You will join a highly motivated and creative public programmes team as we present our vibrant new museum to our varied audiences.
This position will suit a New Zealand registered teacher, who has 3 – 5 years teaching experience and who enjoys working with young children.

Salary range: $52K - $67K + superannuation + benefits.
