The Navy Museum’s mission is to capture and preserve New Zealand’s naval culture and heritage for current and future generations through collection, preservation, presentation, education, research and scholarship.
We seek to employ part time and full time guides to welcome and inform visitors to the new Navy Museum at Torpedo Bay.
In this role you will meet, greet and interact with visitors and ensure all visitors have a safe and positive museum experience. You will give guided tours that bring to life the museum’s collections and artefacts. You will join a highly motivated and creative public programmes team as we present our new museum to our varied audiences.
This position will suit an excellent communicator with customer service skills and an interest in the tourism or museum sector. You will be required to work at least one day on the weekend.

Salary range: $32K - $39 + superannuation + benefits.
