Job description: 

Te Papa’s education team delivers exciting and interactive education programmes that are curriculum-linked and designed to complement classroom activities.

Your role is to deliver high quality education programmes to education audiences and in particular for A Day in Pompeii, and Matariki.

You will have:
• Experience in delivering education programmes to a wide range of audiences, particularly school-aged children
• A sound knowledge in a combination of the following: Science, History, Art, Mātauranga Māori
• Outstanding oral communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience in delivering outstanding customer service
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum document
• Excellent pronunciation of te reo Māori

This is a fixed-term contract from February – 30 June 2010.
