Registry Research Coordinator

Fixed Term / Full Time

The Museum of Transport and Technology is a dynamic working environment where creativity, initiative and enthusiasm thrive. We are looking for a new team member to join our small Registry/Library team.

Your main role will be to review, maintain and update data using the Vernon system; to carry out research into current loans; to ensure registry matters are dealt with professionally and in accordance to best practice.

This role is a 12 week fixed term full time position that will start as soon as possible. There is the opportunity for flexibility with this role for the right person.

 

Key Responsibilities are:

• The verification of existing data using Vernon.

• To accurately enter collection data into the database.

• To ensure that the Museum’s collection items are registered to the highest possible museological standards.

• To compile inventories of artefacts.

• To check and complete loan documentation.
