Te Papa Education | Te Ipu Kāhui Rangi Programme Developer
 
Te Papa Education develops and delivers interactive education programmes, online resources and video conferences. They are curriculum-linked and designed to complement classroom activities.

Your role is to develop and deliver a wide range of education programmes for primary and secondary students. These are based on Te Papa’s exhibition programme and Matariki.

You will have:

  • Experience in delivering education programmes to a wide range of audiences, particularly school-aged students
  • A sound knowledge in a combination of the following: Mātauranga Māori, New Zealand’s Natural Environment, History, Art and Pacific cultures.
  • Outstanding oral communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering outstanding customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum
  • Excellent pronunciation of te reo Māori
  • Recent classroom experience is desirable.

This is a fixed-term position from 3 May – 10 October 2010.
