This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with proven data reporting and programme coordination skills to progress in the data and asset management field.

The Infrastructure Unit of the Wellington City Council is looking for a sharp, innovative and focused person to assist with the comprehensive management of its transportation assets. The Transport Assets Programme Coordinator must be:

  • Experienced in roading asset management practices
  • Well organised, approachable and a team player
  • IT savvy and computer literate.

The Transport Assets Programme tasks include:

Extracting and providing high level asset data information and analysis from data extracted from PeopleSoft Financials, Confirm and RAMM for the purpose of producing operational improvements and cost savings

Consolidating, coordinating and updating transport asset renewal and maintenance programs with a view to identifying and preventing clashes with internal and external (i.e. utility company) maintenance and renewal programs

Utilising available data, the person in this role will be expected to make recommendations about alternative program options where program clashes are highlighted to further enhance asset planning processes.
