Lifeguards
Recreation Wellington
We are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic lifeguards to work in Wellington City Council’s Thorndon & Khandallah Summer Pools. We have seasonal part-time and casual positions available. All staff work on a rostered basis that includes weekend, evening and early morning work.
Duties include:
- Providing great customer service
- Life guarding and emergency response
- Maintenance and facility presentation
- Aquatic recreation and education programmes.
It is desirable that you have a current first aid certificate and pool life guarding qualifications. However if you are a competent swimmer, outgoing, customer focused with a positive outlook, we would like to hear from you.
Applicants must be prepared to undergo pre-employment health and drug screening if short-listed.
