We are looking for a motivated and energetic leader who is able to manage and coordinate a fully comprehensive, innovative volunteer programme. The Volunteer Services Coordinator plans, recruits, trains, places and provides ongoing management and support for our team of high calibre and motivated volunteers.

We are looking for someone with:
♦ Management experience – you have people management experience and have worked with volunteers before
♦ Training and facilitation skills, with an understanding of adult learning techniques to inspire and guide others towards achieving goals
♦ The ability to manage an allocated budget
♦ Excellent communication skills
♦ Conflict resolution skills
♦ A good understanding of relevant health and safety issues to ensure the safety of the volunteer team
♦ Comfortable using a volunteer database – you are highly accurate, have great attention to detail, and are comfortable using an Access database
♦ Experience in the health sector would be an advantage
