Dance Development Officer
The Pacific Dance Project is looking to appoint a Dance Development Officer. This is a permanent part-time (20 hours per week) position situated in the Dance Offices in central Auckland.
Responsibilities include:
- Office and administration duties including all correspondence and accounts
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both the Pacific dance community and established dance practitioners
- Liasing with the Director on various projects and co-ordination of dance workshops/classes
The successful applicant will have an understanding of, and affinity for, Pan-Pacific culture and the development of dance in Pacific communities.
They will also have a degree in Performing Arts, Dance, Communications or Media.
- Experience in office administration (Microsoft Word/Excel)
- Basic knowledge of one or more Pacific languages
- Drivers license
