Work type:

Job description:

Our annual street appeal, Angels for Animals, is quickly approaching and we need your help to make it a success!

We are looking for our ‘angels’ to help collect over the three days of:

Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 November.

The Angels for Animals Appeal is our biggest fundraising event of the year and a great way to get out in the community and talk to people about the important work the SPCA Auckland undertakes. The event involves having volunteer collectors stationed at different sites around Auckland collecting money to support the SPCA Auckland. You can volunteer for as little as two hours or as much as three days, in an area that is convenient for you. We will provide you with a bucket, SPCA vest, stickers and badges to hand out.

This year, our target is to get over 1000 bucket rattlers out onto the streets of Auckland to raise funds for the SPCA. We would love to see as many ‘angels’ inside malls, outside supermarkets, or standing on a busy street corner as possible.

You can even dress as your favourite animal or an angel if you would like and take your beloved furry friend with you to collect. Collectors must be 14 years or older or be accompanied by an adult.

The donations raised from Angels for Animals 2011 will go towards helping us develop our satellite services throughout the Auckland region so that we can save more lives!
