Elam School of Fine Arts within the National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries is seeking to appoint a Public Programmes Manager fixed term for one year. Elam School of Fine Arts is the premiere art school in New Zealand and is highly-regarded internationally.
The Public Programmes Manager will have primary responsibility for the development and implementation of a strategically focused and effective public programme for Elam; as well as collaborating on the profiling of the School's academic programmes.
Reporting directly to the Head of School, the Public Programmes Manager - Elam will manage and market the School's exhibitions and public events programme and develop and maintain key strategic relationships with communities of interest. A knowledge and understanding of issues associated with working in the tertiary education sector is an advantage.
The position requires significant experience in the areas of marketing and management of exhibitions and events within a recognized arts organisation and/or teaching institution.

Key skills sought: 

Completion of a tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is essential.
