Do you want to join our interesting, busy Communications and Marketing team? Do you want to help keep Wellingtonians informed about the great services available in our city and how they can get involved?

This position, reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager, will manage a small team who advise business units on how to plan and implement marketing projects. In this role you will champion the Council’s communications/marketing process and encourage more strategic marketing and set the benchmark for marketing excellence. You’ll also provide advice on sponsorship, social marketing and product and service marketing.

We’re looking for an experienced marketer with proven people management skills used to working across a large organisation.
