Acting in short play!
" La Calle de la Gran Occasion" ("The Street of the Great Occasion"), by Mexican playwright Luisa Josefina Hernandez, directed by Laura Velvin. 1 male (30+) needed for quiet, wheelchair-bound Don Gonzalo; 1 male (20+) needed for role of Alberto Suarez, a mute man held in a hospital prison for killing his wife; 1 woman (30+) needed for Florinda, a clever, motherly widow. Rehearsals begin asap, so if interested please contact Laura Velvin, auditions may not be neccessary, as rest of play is cast. The show dates are Oct 14-17th, but tech rehearsals etc are Oct 10th-14th, so the whole week is required, mainly evenings. Rehearsals are part time and very flexible. As this is a student show, no payment can be offered, but the experience of working with the next generation of up and coming theatre makers is surely unmissable!
Acting, vocal ability, movement (no dance experience required), a willingness to try anything and have fun!
